Biography

​

Dr. Rohit is dedicated and committed to providing exceptional evidence-based medical care and treatment plans centered to best fit individual goals. Dr. Rohit is compassionate and devoted to ensuring that patients understand their treatment plans.

  

Born and raised in India, he completed his medical education at Nalanda Medical College.  Dr. Rohit completed his post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson-Barnabas Health in New Jersey. During his residency he was appointed Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson-Barnabas Health based on academic rank.

He completed his Nephrology Fellowship and Training at New York University Langone Health, New York. While at NYU he was actively immersed in multiple research projects.

​

He is a member of multiple professional organizations such as of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephology. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and in Nephrology.

Dr. Rohit enjoys spending time hiking, kayaking, and camping.
